The direct answer is, between 30 and 36 weeks. This would be into the 7th month but no later than the 8th month. These 6 weeks or so represent the best time to show off a nice round pregnant belly! Obviously, not everybody is made the same way and so these times may be different depending on the person. Typically after the 36 weeks, standing for the photos will become harder on the Mama and may be less comfortable in general.

What is One-For-One Essential Worker Gratitude Session ? Inspired by Anastasia Chomlack (check out her Instagram, Facebook, or Website) Every 1- Hour Family Session booked between now and April 30th will purchase an additional photo session for an essential front line worker of your choice and their family. If you are just interested in purchasing a 1-Hour Family Session to donate to a front line worker, you can do that too! This also works if you do not know who to donate the complimentary photo session too, I can find a front worker who would be very appreciative of this gift. If you’re not in a position to invest at the moment, but would love to be apart of giving back, please message me and nominate an essential worker that you’d like to see receive a complimentary family photo session.
An introduction. I am so happy to share with you that for the first time, I have a guest writing this blog post. I think it is a very topical conversation. Alison is not only a client, but also a friend of mine. We also attend the same church , Forward Church Kitchener. Alison recently was interviewed for an article for a local newspaper, Waterloo Region Record. This is a short and sweet post that reflects not only the anxiety felt by her but also the faith that sustains her. This post is for all of those pregnant moms and moms-to-be.
Take a read below... Tying the knot is one of the most exciting and life-changing decisions that you will ever make. You want the ceremony to be as special and memorable as possible. One of the most important decisions that you will be making is choosing who and how your wedding day will be captured. The person who will capture the moments you will cherish for a lifetime. Maybe you could ask your cousin or your uncle who are amateur photographers. They will probably do it for free, and you could save yourself some money. Why is this not a good idea? Why do you want to hire a professional wedding photographer for your wedding day? There is an enormous benefit to having a professional photographer to capture your wedding and these benefits far outweigh whatever it is that you will save by having your cousin or uncle photograph it for free. Weddings are such a whirlwind of excitement and activity, you need somebody that will be able to capture your memories in the best way possible.
![]() I have changed the name of my company from MarJen Photography. I have had the name for the last two years and at the time it was relevant but now it is not. I have done some soul searching over the last few months and talked to a few people about it. I was challenged by Alyssa from Chasing Galilee to express my faith through my work and through my art. I was reading the bible online when I came across some verses, Colossians 3:23 and 24. The website had the bible in many versions and I found a version of the verses that went like this, “Whatever you might do, work from the soul, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that you will receive from the Lord the reward of the inheritance. You serve the Lord Christ!” That really spoke to me. From The Soul. Other versions said, happily, joyfully or heartily but this one sounded so much more, it hit me. From The Soul. I realise that I will be taking pictures of paying clients and that I will be doing the work for a person but through my work for that person I want to be able to say that I did it from the soul and as to Lord. I hope that this comes through in the photography. The funny thing about that is, Sol, which is a Spanish word that sounds the same as ‘Soul’ means sun or sunlight. I hope that my light shines that all might see His good works through me and that I don’t forget to give God the glory and the recognition as Matthew 5:16 says. Jen I am a Christ Follower. A Mother. A Wife.
Most days you can find me dragging around or being dragged around by my two wonderful sons and husband. I enjoy simple things like hot chocolate with cheese in the morning sunrise, taking afternoon strolls, campfires and marshmallows in the evening. I love moving my hips to a Latin beat.
